AUSTIN DOLL COLLECTORS SOCIETY

The Austin Doll Collectors Society is an organization of antique, vintage, and modern doll collectors, dealers, and artisans. We meet on the second Sunday of each month and our meetings are fun and educational. We begin with refreshments and socializing, and, following our brief business meeting, there is a special doll-related program and "show and tell." The Austin Doll Collectors Society is a nonprofit organization and is a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs.

News About Our October 14th Doll Show!

More exciting news about our upcoming October 14th doll show!  We will have several free presentations on dolls and a display and demonstration of antique and vintage automatons.  The display will include this Bébé au Polichinelle by the Leopold Lambert, circa 1895.  The crying character head is Mold 211 by Jumeau.  When wound, the little girl raises and lowers her broken doll, then sadly turns her head and wipes her eyes with her handkerchief.
