Here is just a sample of some of the many other dolls who will be appearing at our charity booth! If you have some old dolls and doll-related items in good, clean condition that are taking up space and you like to get rid of the clutter AND help a good cause, please consider donating them to our club charity booth. Booth proceeds go to Austin SafePlace and the Austin Children's Shelter. The Austin Doll Collectors Society is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Contact Sharon Weintraub: (512) 323-9639, sharon@weintraub.name, or Elaine Jackson: (512) 832-5663, elaine@gaj.com. We will arrange pick up and provide a donation form.

AUSTIN DOLL COLLECTORS SOCIETY
The Austin Doll Collectors Society is an organization of antique, vintage, and modern doll collectors, dealers, and artisans. We meet on the second Sunday of each month and our meetings are fun and educational. We begin with refreshments and socializing, and, following our brief business meeting, there is a special doll-related program and "show and tell." The Austin Doll Collectors Society is a nonprofit organization and is a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs.

July 7, 2014, Meeting
In belated celebration of the Fourth of July, the refreshment theme was red, white, and blue.
Member Beverly Evans presented a slide show on Bru dolls from the United Federation of Doll Clubs. She brought several examples of reproduction Bru dolls.
There was an example of the centerpiece the club was making for the "For the Love of Rag Dolls" luncheon at the upcoming United Federation of Doll Clubs convention near San Antonio.
Members also brought items for sale.
